Malta Compliance Officer

Location: Malta

We looking for the right individual with the personal attributes to work with a complex and challenging aviation environment. A positive can do attitude, the ability to focus on detail and think critically and a willingness to learn and work as a team or on their own are essential qualities for any candidate looking to apply.

Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Supports the Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM) in ensuring that all activities of the organisation are monitored for compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements and standards and any additional requirements as established by the organisation.
  • Supports the CMM in ensuring that the Compliance Monitoring Programme is properly implemented, maintained, continually reviewed and improved.
  • Performs audits and inspections in his area of competence.
  • Monitors the implementation and effectiveness of preventive and corrective action through the follow-up process
  • Perform internal manuals compliance review.
  • Maintains records and documents of the Management System.
  • Continuously monitors changes in regulations in coordination with CMM.
  • Liaison with regulatory authorities, original equipment manufacturers and other operationally relevant external organisations, as requested by CMM.
  • Maintain the organisation’s KPI reporting system

Requirements : 

  • Knowledge of EASA Air Ops regulations.
  • Aviation internal auditor with previous experience in compliance monitoring in aviation.
  • Knowledge of Safety Management Systems
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Good command of Microsoft tools.
  • Reside or willing to relocate to Malta.
  • Available for travelling as required.

G650 Captain and First officer

Elit’Avia Malta Limited is seeking to recruit a Gulfstream G650 type rated Captain and a First Officer. Preference will be given to those candidates able and willing to reside in Serbia or adjacent countries, or nearby countries with easy access.

Requirements:

G650 type rated – valid and current EASA ATPL with G650 LPC completed within the last eighteen months.

Experience: minimum total flight hours:

  1. Captain: 4000
  2. FO: 1500
  3. Total PIC hours Captain: 4000
  4. Total hours G650 Captain: 500
  5. Total hours G650 First Officer: 200
  6. Total hours G650 PIC Captain: 300

Additional:

  1. Captain: date of command upgrade course and company – please provide information

CAMO Compliance and Safety Executive

Location: Malta

Reporting directly to CAMO Compliance and Safety Manager, the candidate will be performing the CAMO compliance and safety functions as per Elitavia’s CAME. These are, but not limited to, upkeeping of records, administration of internal reporting system and follow-up on the effective implementation of mitigation actions, co-ordination of safety investigations, ensuring all tasks are carried out on time to an approved standard within the remits of the applicable regulations amongst others, and working together with other departments to improve the current system already in place.

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree and/or EASA Part-66 AML or equivalent with  associated management studies supplementing the post.
  • Knowledge in compliance monitoring and safety management system fundamentals ideally within a Continuing Airworthiness environment.
  • Familiar with EASA legislation especially Part-CAMO and Part-145.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with past experience in aviation and/or compliance and safety departments.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, report writing and have a good computer knowledge.
  • Based in Malta Office however willing to travel to fulfil airworthiness functions.
  • A can-do approach is a must whilst able to solve operational / airworthiness / engineering problems together with the established team.
  • Able to work as a team member but also excelling in managing individual projects, promoting Elitavia’s growth and candidates’ career evolvement.

CAMO Airworthiness Engineers / Fleet Technical Coordinators

Location: Malta

Reporting directly to Deputy Accountable Manager & CAMO Manager, the candidate will be performing the CAMO functions as per Elitavia’s CAME. These are, but not limited to, fleet technical management of operated aircraft, form part of Maintenance Control Centre (MCC), being the focal point for EA departments / flight crew during a specific duty period, managing and coordinating scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, ensuring all maintenance is carried out on time to an approved standard within the remits of the applicable regulations, introduction of new aircraft to the fleet whilst maintaining a high level of compliance and safety in all airworthiness functions.

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree and/or EASA Part-66 AML or equivalent with  associated management studies supplementing the post.
  • Documented experience in aviation maintenance and/or airworthiness management.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with basic knowledge of Maintenance Tracking Software like CAMP, MyCMP and other similar platforms.
  • Understanding of Continuing Airworthiness fundamentals within an AOC environment.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English – report writing.
  • Familiar with EASA Part-CAMO, Part-145, Part-21.
  • Based in Malta Office however willing to travel to fulfill airworthiness functions during maintenance / ARC inspections and audits.
  • Support the CAMO Compliance and Safety Department as required.
  • A can-do approach is a must whilst able to solve operational / airworthiness / engineering problems together with the established team.
