About the Role

Based in Malta and reporting to the Director of Key Accounts and Strategic Initiatives, the incumbent will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of private aviation clients, ensuring mission-readiness of assigned client’s operations to the highest standards of service. Additionally, you will be responsible for expanding upon existing relationships through proactively offering solutions that enhance and improve the customer experience. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients. 

  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements. 

  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives. 

  • Ensure the correct services and information are delivered to customers in a timely manner. 

  • Serve as the link of communication between customers and internal teams.

Requirements

Office Administrator

Location: Malta

About the Role

We are looking for an Office Administrator, based at our headquarters in Malta. Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Basic administration duties such as taking care of the company phone calls, post, local courier shipments, ordering office supplies and maintaining a presentable office space. 

  • Support tasks related to the office expansion and office furnishings. 

  • Support tasks involving arrangement and coordination of documents to lawyers’ offices, Government Departments, Elit’Avia Crews, Clients etc. including when necessary, taking/collecting documents personally. 

  • Provide support on Aircraft registration process, Customs import of aircraft, invoice checking, preparation and maintenance of budgetary information, airport pass management, administration relating to risk register etc. 

  • Follow up and provide secretary and agenda control for meetings and Technical Admin Support for all departments. 

  • Inventory of all Elit’Avia property. 

  • Communication with local suppliers. 

  • Archiving control for CAMO department. 

  • Update of aircraft records. 

  • Organization of any local events.

Charter Sales Manager

Location: Malta, or a remote EU location

About the Role

We are looking for a Charter Sales Manager, based at either our headquarters in Malta, or a remote EU location. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Customer Experience, the candidate will be responsible to grow both fleet and 3rd party brokered charter sales within the EU, Middle East and Africa.  Travel will be required. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Generate charter sales on Elit’Avia’s managed fleet.

  • Generate charter sales through brokerage on 3rd party aircraft.

  • Generate block hour and jet card sales through the “Elit’Avia Green Jet Card” program.

  • Generate aircraft wet and dry lease opportunities, as well as block hour opportunities on both managed fleet and 3rd party aircraft.

  • Work on achieving monthly team and/or individual targets set by the company within any period.

  • Managed all leads/prospects, sales and opportunities within company CRM

  • Manage confirmed charter flights as required by providing outstanding customer service to clients with confirmed bookings.

  • Manage assigned accounts by means of customer service and repeat business.

  • Liaise with other departments when required (including Operational Control Centre, Maintenance, Flight Operations, Finance and HR) and top Management.

  • Support the regional offices and/or Sales Directors by generating quotations when required as well as follow up on quotations.

  • Call customers regularly to develop and maintain relationships.

  • Complete business development calls to generate leads on a weekly basis.

  • Identify new business leads.

  • Work on sales and business development related projects that may be fully or partially assigned.

  • Support other sales functions by transferring any relevant opportunities, cross-selling and up-selling Employer products and services.

Flight Operations Officer

Location: Malta

About the Role

We are looking for a Flight Operations Officer, based at our headquarters in Malta, and part of a highly motivated team dispatching business jets 24/7 worldwide. The ideal candidate has previous experience in flight operations, either in private or commercial aviation, in addition to the personal attributes to work within a complex and challenging aviation environment, a positive can-do attitude, the ability to focus on details, think critically, and can work in a team environment or on their own.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Global IFR/VFR, short range, and ultra-long rage EROPS flight planning in compliance with 1 AOC and one private OPS, flight safety and flight planning laws.

  • Flight feasibility checks, arranging over flight/landing permissions, slots globally.

  • Arranging handling, fuel, VIP and additional lavatory, water, towing, GPU, ASU equipment for the aircraft as necessary.

  • Managing passenger details and arranging customs and immigration services as required, for example eAPIS.

  • Reading and analyzing FIR/Enroute/Station NOTAM’s, TAF and METAR in the preparation and final dispatch stage of flight planning and acting accordingly should they affect.

  • Arranging additional insurance coverage for aircraft operating into and out of places/countries on coverage exclusion lists.

  • Maintaining watch of worldwide traffic flow and planning accordingly.

  • Updating crew about slots that may be incurred due to European Central flow management.

  • Worldwide Weather monitoring as well as geopolitics and security monitoring.

  • Cooperating with Ground Operations Coordinators for cost comparisons of different airports and handlings (good Excel skills), checking COVID-19 restrictions for PAX and Crew.

  • Managing flights chedule and PAX details in Flight Scheduling System

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or higher education.

  • Experience in flight dispatch, previous experience with PPS flight planning software, GURU W&B

  • General knowledge of aviation regulations and requirements.

  • A highly process driven but also “out-of-the-box” approach to problem solving. Don’t think out of the box, think like there is NO box.

  • Good prioritization of tasks as well as ability to coordinate communication between other departments, external providers, and Clients.

  • Dedicated team players with excellent interpersonal skills, reliable, meticulous, and resourceful.

  • Ability to work under high pressure and make independent decisions based on gathered information.

  • Willingness to work to objectives set by the OCC Supervisor.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Location: Los Angeles Area

We are looking for a full-time Challenger 3500 Captain for a Part 135 operator, based in the greater Los Angeles area with the following qualifications and certifications:

  • Type rated on Challenger 350 or comparable aircraft.

  • Ability to work on an on-call basis.

  • Lives within a 2-hour drive to LA base, or willing to relocate.

  • Ability to successfully complete annual ICAO International procedures training.

  • Hold and maintain a first-class medical certificate.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the safe operation of the Challenger 3500 aircraft including, but not limited to:

    • Comply with all Federal Aviation regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies & procedures.

    • Ensuring the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.

    • Review the aircraft maintenance records to ensure: Required airworthiness and equipment inspections are current.

    • Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved aircraft flight manual.

    • A complete check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airports to be used, including alternate airports.

    • Accurate completion of all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.

Minimum Requirements for Consideration

  • Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours

  • Supports the CMM in ensuring that the Compliance Monitoring Programme is properly implemented, maintained, continually reviewed and improved.

  • Performs audits and inspections in his area of competence.

  • Monitors the implementation and effectiveness of preventive and corrective action through the follow-up process

  • Perform internal manuals compliance review.

  • Continuously monitors changes in regulations in coordination with CMM.

CAMO Compliance and Safety Executive

Location: Malta

Reporting directly to CAMO Compliance and Safety Manager, the candidate will be performing the CAMO compliance and safety functions as per Elitavia’s CAME. These are, but not limited to, upkeeping of records, administration of internal reporting system and follow-up on the effective implementation of mitigation actions, co-ordination of safety investigations, ensuring all tasks are carried out on time to an approved standard within the remits of the applicable regulations amongst others, and working together with other departments to improve the current system already in place.

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree and/or EASA Part-66 AML or equivalent with associated management studies supplementing the post.

  • Knowledge in compliance monitoring and safety management system fundamentals ideally within a Continuing Airworthiness environment.

  • Familiar with EASA legislation especially Part-CAMO and Part-145.

  • Preference will be given to applicants with past experience in aviation and/or compliance and safety departments.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English, report writing and have a good computer knowledge.

CAMO Airworthiness Engineers / Fleet Technical Coordinators

Location: Malta

Reporting directly to Deputy Accountable Manager & CAMO Manager, the candidate will be performing the CAMO functions as per Elitavia’s CAME. These are, but not limited to, fleet technical management of operated aircraft, form part of Maintenance Control Centre (MCC), being the focal point for EA departments / flight crew during a specific duty period, managing and coordinating scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, ensuring all maintenance is carried out on time to an approved standard within the remits of the applicable regulations, introduction of new aircraft to the fleet whilst maintaining a high level of compliance and safety in all airworthiness functions.

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree and/or EASA Part-66 AML or equivalent with associated management studies supplementing the post.

  • Documented experience in aviation maintenance and/or airworthiness management.

  • Preference will be given to applicants with basic knowledge of Maintenance Tracking Software like CAMP, MyCMP and other similar platforms.

  • Understanding of Continuing Airworthiness fundamentals within an AOC environment.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English – report writing.
